The Cliffs Event Team Receives Prestigious CPCE Designation from the National Association for Catering & Events

The CPCE designation is the most prestigious and widely respected in the catering and events industry

TRAVELERS REST, S.C. – Mary Painter and Tabatha Cantrell received the Certified Professional in Catering and Events (CPCE) designation from the National Association for Catering and Events (NACE).

The CPCE is awarded to industry professionals who prove their expertise through a written exam that covers accounting, beverage management, catering services, contracts and agreements, event management, food production, human resources and sales and marketing.

Mary Painter serves as the General Manager for The Cliffs at Glassy, one of the seven luxury communities of The Cliffs. Tabatha Cantrell is the Event Coordinator for The Cliffs at Glassy working side-by-side Painter. Painter and Cantrell are both members of the NACE Greenville chapter. Prior to earning the CPCE certification, The Cliffs Event Team was honored during the NACE Experience! 2015 Conference and Expo taking home two of the top awards: 2015 NACE Award for Best Team Event of the Year and the 2015 NACE Award for Best Social Event Production of the Year. Both awards recognized “50 Shades of Green”, The Cliffs at Glassy 2014 Ladies Member/Guest Golf Tournament.

The National Association for Catering and Events (NACE) recognized The Cliffs Event Team with two top honors during the NACE Experience! 2015 Conference and Expo held in Scottsdale, A.Z. NACE honored The Cliffs with the 2015 NACE Award for Best Team Event of the Year and the 2015 NACE Award for Best Social Event Production of the Year during the organization’s annual Awards Gala. Both awards recognized “50 Shades of Green”, The Cliffs at Glassy 2014 Ladies Member/Guest Golf Tournament.
