The Cliffs welcomes new Director of Sales after recent waterfront neighborhood release
GREENVILLE, S.C. – Today, The Cliffs announced Marc Wilson as the new Director of Sales for its Lake Keowee sales team, bringing with him 25 years of experience in the planned community and golf real estate industry.
“Marc was a great candidate for this position considering his past experience and strong leadership in the world of luxury real estate and golf communities, in addition to his ability to evolve and adapt to today’s buyer,” stated Kent Smith, Senior Vice President of Sales for The Cliffs. Marc will be based out of The Cliffs Information Center located near its newest neighborhood, Dockside at The Cliffs at Keowee Springs, just off just off Highway 133 and minutes from Clemson, SC.
Prior to joining The Cliffs, Marc most recently served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Tennessee National Golf Club in Loudon, TN. There, he was responsible for creating all sales processes for the community, directing all marketing efforts, as well as hiring and training all sales personnel.
Additionally, Marc served as the General Manager and Executive Vice President, Qualifying Broker and Broker-in-Charge for Bear Lake Reserve located in Tuckasegee, NC. Under his leadership land values increased 29% and homes increased as much as 25% from the previous year’s performance. Other previous positions include Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Land Resource Companies in Atlanta, GA and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Ginn Company in Orlando, FL.
