In its first year of participation, Flourish earned nine MarCom awards during the 2015 international competition: two Platinum Awards, four Gold Awards, and three Honorable Mentions. The 2015 competition for marketing and communication professionals drew more than 6,000 entries from 34 countries in a range of categories including print, digital media and strategic communication.
“We are so thrilled for our clients,” stated Jamie Prince, founder and principal of Flourish and its sister company Flourish Events. “Being the first year we have participated, we didn’t quite know what to expect. It’s always reassuring to know that your work stands at the top of the industry, and it’s a reflection to our clients that not only are we listening to them, but we are also being good brand counselors to them. All in all, a very happy day for our team.”
Flourish took top honors with two MarCom Platinum Awards: one for Coldwell Banker Caine’s “Home Is” 2015 advertising campaign and the second in the specialty item category for the 40th Anniversary finishers medal for The Assault on Mt. Mitchell cycling ride.
Flourish earned four MarCom Gold Awards for Flourish’s newly redesigned website (www.startflourishing.com), for the marketing/communications plan for the 40th Anniversary of The Assaults, for The Cliffs publicity campaign and for Greenville Women Giving’s 10th Anniversary fundraising brochure, “A Celebration of Giving.”
Flourish also received three MarCom Honorable Mentions for Flourish’s recent website redesign (www.startflourishing.com), the public/media relations campaign plan for Greenville Women Giving’s 10th Anniversary and Greenville Country Club’s “The Club Experience” brochure.
The MarCom Awards is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). This international organization sponsors this annual competition where entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, PR firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.
