The Charity Ball Board of Greenville has unanimously selected the beneficiaries for the 2017 Rose Ball. The 24th Rose Ball will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Poinsett Club. The Rose Ball recently hosted a special tea to thank and honor the Greenville women who grow and provide the homegrown roses used to decorate the Ball, which is held every other year, in September, at the Poinsett Club. Finishing the 2017 Assaults

Last Monday, May 15th, over 500 cyclists made the trek from Spartanburg, South Carolina to Mt. Mitchell, North Carolina. Cyclists climbed 11,000 feet over 103 miles for the 42nd Assaults on Mt. Mitchell and Marion presented by Greenville Health Systems. A huge congratulations is due to the cyclists who train and exhaust themselves conquering “The Beast of The East”. Special congratulations to Winston David who finished first with a time of 5:25:11. It was an amazing day filled with challenging climbs, beautiful views and fantastic weather.
